and can someone please tell Baker that the Cards, with their inferior pitching staff are attempting to prove his theory that hitting is what wins championships?
Actually, my theory is that either hitting or pitching wins, so long as you score more than the other team. Which seems pretty obvious. But the Yankees have won 26 titles by scoring lots and lots of runs.
This Series is proving my other theory: anything can happen in a short series.
